Pros:
Salary are good. may find good work in few projects. used to be good in giving travel opportunity.
free water, cold drink and food.
But these are useless if company culture/ environment is not good.
cons:
Lots of places you will find unethical, no values and non professional company.
Lots of information hiding by HQ(korea) though they are in the same project. Hq will keep the complete control and treat indians as slaves. The problem is indian management behaves like slave only and Koreans are utilizing this weak point.
MD is the God. He will do whatever come in his mind. Group Heads too behave like GODs but having no power or decision making capability.
Wrong way to fire the people by giving bad ratings. Ad hoc process, sudden change in ratings in last moment. Various parameters been consider like clear the competency test, number of short fall used, number of hours in ofc to decide on ratings.
very bad bell curve fitting. this year they gave 25% bottom raters and daily forcing(harassing) them to leave the company. How can a company give 1/4 th people to bottom ratings and ask to leave.
Indian Management is toothless. All are so much insecure, you can see on their faces very easily. They are very sadist guys.
No fun in working, it is all suffering. Even you do good work, good salary but their is no job satisfaction.
Very tough to work with internal teams. Everyone is interested in own share of credit, no one care for the company or project.
Management not mind in copying the ideas from vendor and other companies and introduce in Samsung product in some or other way.
Koreans get special treatment, separate room for food, properly arranged desks. Even junior Korean behave like CEO of the company in front of top Indian Senior.
