The Samsung Galaxy J5 sports a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display while the J7 has a 5.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display. The phones run Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
While the Galaxy J5 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, the J7 is driven by a 1.5GHz Exynos octa-core processor. Both of the phones have 1.5GB RAM; the J7 comes with 16GB storage and the J5 with 8GB storage, with microSD card slots for expansion.
