Salman Khan since 2009 became of the biggest star with extraordinarily huge fan base across the country. Known for his bad boy image in real life, hadn't affected his career to a large extent. Salman today is also known as a star maker or opportunity provider. It is not wrong to say that actors, directors or singers like Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Himesh Reshammiya, Arjun Kapoor, Zarine Khan, Sneha Ulal, Daisy Shah, Pulkit Smarat and others are gift to film industry from Salman.
Khan off the screen is also known for his charitable work and had founded Being Human foundation for children. Being Human merchandises has gained popularity all over the country.
Salman was born on 27th December 1965 and is eldest son of famous writer Salim Khan. Khan started his career in 1988 by doing a supporting role in Biwi Ho To Aisi leaded by Farooq Shaikh. In the next year, 1989 he appeared in Super hit movie Maine Pyaar Kiya which was a love story. Thus giving Indian cinema a new lover boy superstar.
His reel and real life saw him going through lots of problems and love complications as he became part of various controversies and affairs in which he was to be solely blamed. he wad linked with most of the leading ladies of Hindi cinema which includes former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Somi Ali Khan, Sangeeta Bijlani and several other actresses as well. He was engaged and about to get married with Sangeeta Bijlani but was caught red handed cheating on her by Sangeeta herself which resulted into their separation. this was confessed by Salman himself in the show Koffee With Karan.
Besides affairs, Salman has some serious criminal charges. Salman was involved in Black Buck hunting case in 2006 during the shoot of his movie Hum Saath Saath Hai along with Saif Ali Khan 7 Sonali Bendre. Salman was also involved in hit and run case killing a person sleeping on the foot path in Mumbai in year 2002. Salman was reportedly drunk during the rash driving which killed one and injured several.
His filmy career has some blockbuster and super hit movies to his credit like Maine Pyaar Kiya(1989), Saajan(1991), Hum Aapke Hai Kuan(1994), Andaaz Apna Apna(1994), Karan Arjun(1995), Khamoshi(1996), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai(1998), Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya(1998), Hum Sil De Chuke Sanam(1999), Tere Naam(2003), Partner(2007), Wanted(2007), Dabangg(2010) & Dabangg 2(2012), Ready & Bodygaurs(2011), Ek Tha Tiger(2012) etc.
