My father had a treadmill test in one of the laboratory in Shimoga, They found a problem in the heart and told my mother to take him to Sahyadri Narayan Shimoga. I was in a Bangalore, My mother alone went to the hospital for an angiogram and admitted, They told it is very emergency and critical, Doctor said even if my father walks 10 steps he may die, But he came to the laboratory with city bus and auto. After that my mother got tensed, Doctor directly prepared for emergency surgery. I reached 10 min before the operation and I was not in a position to take up any decision at that point of time as I did not know my father condition. Once the surgery is done, My father did not recover at all and gave me dead body on Friday as operation done on Tuesday.
NOTE: My father did not have sugar, Bp or any other health complication.
Operation is done by Dr. Balasubramani R and his team.
The doctor told us following things before the operation.
95 percent guarantee.
Even if he walks 10 steps he might die or even if he goes to the bathroom he might die.
They did not ask about medication which he has taken in the past.
As my father was claustrophobic, Even though I told multiple times they did not bother to listen to me what I said. After operation doctor was saying if he is claustrophobic then it is difficult.
After the emergency operation, the Doctor told your father vein is so thin for bypass, no hospital in India can save him. I don't know how they prepared my father for operation without knowing this.
As I am guessing, They were not able to do the operation properly because of this, Heart did not take up the load, In order to bear the consequences. Increase the medicine power to 10 times, Because of this kidney and liver got damaged, Finally, they said, because of multiple organ failure he passed away. My question is why heart did not take up the load if they have done operation properly.
Doctor was telling, Multiple organ failure, bleeding all can occur if we do the emergency surgery. They did not give this information. They told there may be a chance of kidney or liver damage. But they did not tell me it is much higher in emergency surgery.
Even for my friend mom, They told it is emergency and needs to be done surgery immediately but they have taken to some other hospital and she survived.
Final conclusion about this hospital is, Once you go there, They will not leave you. They will tell emergency and do the surgery. I think people are money minded and they want the business to run, No value for people life that is what I felt, If my parents would have informed me at right time, I could have shifted to Bangalore immediately. But I did not get the chance and I lost my father forever.
In the hospital, Doctor told blockage is 99%, As I saw in the report it was mentioned only 90%, 95%, and 60%. I think they were completely avoided us to discharge and they wanted to get done the operation there itself.
As my suggestion, Please take the second opinion before proceeding with emergency operation. And emergency operation has a lot of negative consequences doctor did not inform us. Totally cheating hospital and no value for life.
