My Uncle 85 year old had a heart attack, that we did not realize till he was admitted to local hospital at Devagiri Hospital, 2nd Stage Banashankari, Bangalore. He was diagnosed to have heart attack and was referred to Sagar Apollo hospital at Jayanagar, Tilak Road. The specialist their Doctor Raghunandan said my uncle needed an angio Plasty and the expenses were given close to Rs 4.0 lac for the same. To a specific question whether such operation is needed on a person who is 85 year old, the doctor answered affirmatively and extracted the concurrence of the family members to proceed with the operation. The next day in about 25 hours My uncle had heart failure in spite of the angio plast operation that was done on him and was put on ventilator support and in another 12 hours he passed away after suffering one more supposed heart attack.
Are these Doctors are human beings? If they cannot predict correctly the result with high probability, why do they induce needless expenditure on the family members and torture both the patient and their family? Are not these doctors cold blooded murders and robbers who deserve punishment?
