Harassed by Safari Bags – Stay Away!

Had the most frustrating and harassing experience with Safari Bags. I placed two orders, and both resulted in major issues that are still unresolved.


1. First Order (SA80): I ordered a bag worth INR 4694.5/- on 26th August 2024, and it arrived in bad condition, looking old and used. I immediately raised a return request, which was approved on 2nd Sep. A pickup was arranged via Delhivery (AWB #xxxxx77841), but as of today, no one has come to collect the item.


2. Second Order (SA811): Since I had an upcoming flight on 10th September, I contacted Safari’s customer care on 3rd September, asking for a quick pickup of the first order. Instead, I was advised to place a new order, with the promise that it would arrive within 3-4 days. I followed their advice and paid an additional INR 4694/- for a second order. The bag only arrived on 14th September, long after I had left for my trip, causing a major inconvenience.


This second bag was also in terrible condition, with a broken product box. Despite my parents’ refusal to accept the damaged product, the delivery agent pressured them into taking it, claiming it wasn’t his concern. We recorded an unboxing video, and it’s clear the bag is cheap and low-quality. I immediately raised another return request, which was approved on 18th September, but no one has come to pick up either of the two bags to this day.


To make matters worse, when I contacted Safari again for a solution, the customer care representative hung up on me! Delhivery’s customer service is equally unresponsive, leaving me stuck with two defective bags.


I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and irresponsible both Safari Bags and Delhivery have been. Their customer service is abysmal, and they have caused me immense stress and harassment.


Do not trust Safari Bags – their promises are fake, their products are substandard, and they simply don’t care once they’ve got your money.


I urge the Consumer Court to take strict action against these companies for this ongoing harassment and lack of accountability. Avoid Safari Bags at all costs if you don’t want to end up in a similar mess!
