I feel we have developed a tendency to color any controversy to racial. Overreaction to such small issues should be discouraged. It is a history when cricket was white man’s game, name any good player from any country, he must be playing for some or the club in UK.
Events that precipitated this controversy.
1.Indian’s are famous for excessive appealing.
2.Any empire will not tolerate this unethical practice.
3.The Denness had also warned Indian team in 1999 in Nairobi to stop this practice.
4.This time too Indian behaviour irritated the Mike Denness. He went by books to get hold of them He got the right chance.
5.Indians did violate the rules on the ground.
What could have prevented this?
A responsible skipper like Saurabh Ganguly should have handled this issue more responsibly.
We should not blame the Denness for the menace created by Indian team. Media is equally responsible for creating mess out of it.
Please see this review does not support Tendulkar's innocence or guilt. It is unfortunate for him to have caught in this.
And I am sure arrogant Indians will not recommend this view.
