If a person is a Sachin R Tendulkar fan, which most of us are, does not necessarily mean they would like the movie. This film is a documentary based on Sachin Tendulkar's real life and features everything from his personal to professional life in this movie.
PLOT
The movie is basically a documentary so it is based on real life incidences of sachin tendulkar but on the whole because sachin tendulkar is a cricketer and not an actor makes it little hard to accept the real life incidences to be real.
The young boy who has portrayed the character of sachin has performed well and has done justice to the role in the beginning but rest portion seems a little dull.
SCENES
There are some scenes in the movie that are eyes popping, because of the popularity that sachin has and the public cheering him for the real makes it more realistic. Every century that he has made and the records that he has created were described very nicely in the movie.
BACKGROUND SCORE
Everybody knows that A.R. Rehman is one of the great Artists/Musician who can bring alive many scenes and make some memorable impact only with the kind of music he creates. It touches you in every way with the scenes, although the scenes are not very creative.
ACTING
Everybody knows that Sachin is not an actor so its not his fault to give it a try because of his producers and casting directors. But overall he couldnt create a magic with his acting or portraying his own character the way magic is created when he was on the field of cricket or when he used to hit centuries ( 100) .
Overall the movie could have done better and scripted in a better way. Only few scenes were impactful and the background score of the movie made it realistic to enter the movie and enjoy it.
I would rate it 3/5 only for Sachin, otherwise the movie doesnt deserve a great score due to missing real plot description.
Sachin Tendulkar will always be a 10 on 5 cricketer and will be the most favorite player in the cricket sport all time, but the movie couldnt impress much to a way.
