Originality:

First credit should be given where they are due. For the effort from SLB and his team for creating an impressive score. I have listened to the album two runs. I would like to speak aloud on my perception of the music of one of the most awaited movies.

The singing is soothing. The feel of the album is very soft, like a feather caressing your ears. Some numbers are marvellous, and almost in the league of HDDCS songs. The Youn Shabnami  number is the master stroke for me due to the surprise qawwali it breals into in the middle and then retreats to the original tempo.

I feel that the lyrics could have had done with a little more depth. Mony of those sound like a pedestrian tukbandi, unfortunately. Great music should have been complemented by better shayari.

Now, the thing I have been so eager to say. The aade tirchhe notes of some songs get on your neves. Really. To much acrobatics has taken away from the simplicity of teen love. Credit to Kunal and Shail for successfully singing those, but, it seems SLB has some kind of fetish for the'mishr sur', which started from the HDDCS title score. But this works better like a sprinkling of salt/pepper, not in the way of the main cereals. The melody suffers in the end. It was really tedious in the first playing for me.

I hope more people agree with me.
