Robin Hood:Prince of thieves, is a good movie overall. It stars Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman and Mary Stuart MasterAntonio(I think). The story for those who dont know is set at the time of the Crusades, Kevin Costner is Robin of Locksley the protagonist, who returns from the Crusades with an Arab (called a barbarian by the Brits) after many years. He finds that all around him has changed and how his father was murdered by the Evil dude, The Sheriff Of Nottingham. The plot goes around to his childhood sweetheart Maid Marion, anyways I think I am going too much into detail.
The story is good, with some good performances all-round. Kevin Costner is good(much better than that fiasco WaterWorld).
Bryan Adams lights up the soundtrack with that evergreen hit, Everything I do, which sits in well with the movie.
Some of the action scenes are very good, most notably the arrow splitting in two scene, very well done!
It is a good vs Evil theme done up well. The only thing I thought it lacked was a bit of humour(which was there but not so good), thats all I can think up on negatives.
On the whole an enjoyable flick.
