Story:

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki written with the help of Sharon L.Lechter-

Warner Books, Inc.printed it at New York and I got their first international mass printing copy of Sept.2001. To my surprise, this book is dedicated to all parents everywhere, a child's most important teachers as Author says and I too feel the same. First of all, I read all interesting comments by various magazines, journals, newspapers. To be very frank, the second line of the Title which attracted me more. It goes like this,'' What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money- That the Poor and Middle Cass Do not !. Then read Acknowledgements in simple English, easy to understand however, bit confusing as in between Sharon says something on her behalf too as she is co-author though she was accountant in real life.

Here we come to contents of book. Sharon has helped Robert Kiyosaki to bring his idea in the form of this book to us. Sharon, so nice of you !! She writes, she played Cashflow, the educational product (game) with one group and was impressed. This book is under three headings first being ''There is a Need'' under which there are seven chapters and six lessons covered fluently. Then under heading ''Beginnings'', we can have ''Overcoming Obstacles'' and third one is ''Getting Started''. Wow !! I won't disclose it here to make you more anxious about this book. Under this we get two chapters and Epilogue.

With this, book doesn't get finished. Mr.Robert Kiyosaki thanks us in different manner requesting us to keep learning by visiting special website- https://richdadbook1.com for which reader (i.e.me) really got impressed though yet to visit this site. Then both Mr.Robert and Sharon ask us to ''Take Action''....another nice guesture of book.

Oh my God ! now Mr.Robert taught me new word ''Edumercial''. It's mix word of ''An Educational Commercial '' and under this he teaches ''The Three Incomes''...that's Great once again !! He confirms, through Rich Dad and Poor Dad, from time to time throughout the Book that we are really getting the msg. he wants to convey. First is ''Earned Income'', second is ''Passive Income'' and third one is ''Portfolio Income''. Need to explain? Ok. Everybody knows about earned income. Passive income is earned through real estate investments and portfolio income means paper assets such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds. He quotes Bill Gates for example for portfolio income.

Author emphasizes that key to financial freedom and great wealth is a person's ability or skill to convert earned income into passive and/or portfolio income.Whole teachings of books are put before us through conversation among author (when in school)., his friend mike and his Dad, whom he is calling as Rich Dad. Obviously author is calling his real Dad as poor Dad in the sense that he was intelligent and prof. in reputed Univ., earning specific pay and struggling for payment of bills throughout his life and used to tell author in childhood to study hard and get nice job and earn nice which according to Rich Dad was not totally correct. Rich Dad doesn't deny importance of studying, however he says, school is not end, it's beginning.

I too feel, school is must, however, it has supporting role in real life ( It's already written on my profile page). Interesting part is that Author started creating educational board games. They are in his opinion the easiest and best way to learn complex subjects.Very True ! Just as we can never learn to ride bicycle by only reading a book, author has created three board games which teach us what book cannot teach according to him. Cashflow 101 costs $195, Cashflow 202 costs $145 and Cashflow for kids costs $79 in US. These games include audio casettes, videos, and/or books. When compared with entertainment games these are felt expensive as per author. Friends, I know about these games only from this book nothing more. It's upto you to check these games. Mr.Robert and Sharon have joined forces as principals of Cashflow Technologies Inc. to produce financial educational products. The Company's mission statement reads- ''To elevate the financial well-being of humanity.'' Everything is mentioned in this Book to inform us about it.. Website suggested by Author is '' https://richdad.com for FAQs, and additional information and Co's events and his appearances and interviews.

Friends, many of you might have read this book, if not pl. grab copy and please don't forget to write whatever you thought or learnt.

Mrs. Medha.
