Planning for a car under 5 lakh on Road. Of course, you have kept it on your list. So, fist see what are the option you have. Maruti Alto K10, Renault Kwid 1.0 & Hyndai Eon. All of these are very good. I have not kept Tata Tiago in this list. Because you have buy Tata Tiago it will not come under 5 lakh. It will take you around 5.5 lakh on road. So, now what Renault Kwid offers 999cc petrol engine with a SUV type look. Maruti K10 is its main competitor. Maruti K10 does not look so much agreesive as Renault Kwid. If you are planning a car with minimum budget but best look. Then Renault Kwid is perfect option. But it has some cons. You can hear engine noise in the cabin. which is very annoying. As reanult is new in the Indian market. Parts are not much available. So you may have to wait for replacing parts. Sometime you will feel it is loosing its power while running. Gear is very hard. Lots of Renault Kwid owners faced clutch problem. Several issues makes it problematic car. The only reason for which you may buy this car is that its look. But if you are planning to buy a car for long term. I will not prefer.
