There are few days in your life which you remember whole life. Some are good and some are bad. I will remember 26th September 2011 as one of the worst day in my life on which I took a decision and that backfired like anything. I purchased reliance netconnect 3G which promises to give speed up to 7.2 mbps. Now I quite understand the ‘catch’ in ‘up to’ things. It is never 7.2 mbps nor I expected it to be but it should at least give me 3 Mbps of speed. I really hoped that much however the speed keeps on jumping between 140 kbps to 800 kbps. Latter speed you get the day when you are really lucky. Reliance netconnect 3G comes with a software cd, a USB extension, the device, a SIM card and a manual. As quite clear by the mentioned things that the device can be used with different SIMs as well which is a good thing and I am going to do the same as well. 3G plans are not attractive rather they are more repulsive. High price with no or low benefits makes this service one of the most ignorable services.
The rest is done by the petty customer service provided by them. The troubleshooting steps they advise to perform are awful. They don’t know anything apart from reinstalling the software and deleting cookies. I will rather advise people to search on Google for troubleshooting. There is lack of communication between the customer service and the technician department. Both branches will tell you entirely different things which will make you confuse and irritated. It also takes extra charge for roaming services which is yet another drawback.
I will advise to people after usage and experiencing this service that DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY by purchasing this insignificant stuff. Speed is terrible, customer service is horrible and connectivity is just acceptable. So, conclusion is that never make an alliance with Reliance.
