Reliance is saying 40Paise for 1 min. This is only from Reliance to Reliance Customer. This is also if you take the scheme which cost Rs. 21,000/-. In this there is a pulse of 15 sec. Where as if you take the second scheme which is for Rs. 10,500/- in which you have to pay Rs. 1.20 for 3 min. There is a pulse of 3 min.
So everybody has to have Reliance Network so that you can make all the calls at 40paise per min.
Local Calls:
Reliance has never made clear that if you make any call from Reliance to any other services like MTNL's Landline or to a GSM subscribet Landline charges will be applicable or not?
As everybody knows that if we are making any call from GSM Mobile to landline the landline charges are additional. Why Reliance is not supposed to pay anything for making outgoing calls to a landline subscriber? and if you have to pay the landline charges then in that case if you have to pay Rs. 2.40 for 3 min. or even Rs. 1.60 for one minute, which becomes costlier than the normal Telephone or Garuda.
STD Calls:
Only Reliance to Reliance is 40 paise/min. What if we make a call from Bombay Reliance to Delhi Landline? In this cast it is STD charges plus 40paise/min. This also becomes costlier than normal MTNL Landline or Garuda.
Performance:
As the trial phase is going on but we found that the signal is powerful. But finding it is very difficult to make calls as it keeps on giving message ''All the lines to this route are busy'' This is specially if you are making call somewhere near to Borivali. But at the same time you gets connect using MTNL line.
Compare to GARUDA it is good. But it gives a message ''the customer is not reachable'' or '' Customer has switch off the instrument'' where as the competitor GARUDA does not specifies this when called up.
Instrument:
The instrument is very attractive no doubt about the instruments quality. But the cost of instrument is not Rs. 10,500/- what Reliance is saying. It must be around Rs. 5,000 to Rs.6,000/- max.
As it is seen normally with all the CDMA instruments that they gets heated up after 5 min. of use the same is the case with this instrument also.
Free Internet:
Free Internet facility means you have only free internet access not the calling charges. There will be calling charges as that is with any dialup connection. Only facility is you can receive the mails without the PC.
But the time it is taking to download the message is too long and the procedure is also lengthy.
Unlike GARUDA you can not have your own instrument. So let us say after 6 months if you want to change the instrument with the instrument you have purchased from outside, then Reliance will not entertain you. They are not allowing you to use your own handset.
HelpDesk:
If you call up the helpdesk number there you will be kept on hold making you listen their own ad. '' Kya Soch thi,'' for more than 15 min. and after that the call will get dosconnect.
