I am using Reliance CDMA services since 9 years and I was satisfied with it, as I found the cost and services were best compared to others in the industry. I have gifted Reliance CDMA to my parents as well.
During the last few months Reliance is sending SMS saying you have been subscribed to some value added service and they say send SMS to XXXX to deactivate. I send three SMS but deactivation doesn't happen. Many a times I have deleted these SMS thinking they are spam and hence have lost several hundreds of rupees to Reliance conning game.
My parents who can't read SMS or send SMS were also conned continuously for last 6-8 months. Their balance would keep diminishing every week.
Today I talked to reliance customer service, they are asking me proof of address(original) etc etc to confuse me I asked them what is the connection between deactivating services and producing original credentials. They are mum.
So beware of these SMS scam, even if you respond they will not deactivate you need to go to customer service to deactivate the same.
But after losing hundreds of rupees, I am seriously thinking of saying good bye to RELIANCE once for all.
Just imagine Reliance CDMA is owned mainly in rural areas, they may not able to read and understand SMS, Reliance is indulging is such a shameful scam. They are conning rural folks to mint money. Such a disgusting company with no moral values.
When Dirubhai was at the helm, he helped people to access mobile telephony in large numbers, but his son Anil is conning the very people for which his father helped and is minting money.
Shame on Anil Ambani!
