After reading many reviews and comments I want to say one thing - Be a Reliance or Tata or Airtel or Hutch or any body else, There is no concept of Service in India. Every company just want to increase no of subscribers. Customer service is not good at all with any proider. One may be willing to pay some premium for getting a good service including Network, customer care, billing etc but no provider is looking into it at the moment. All are same. I would say no where near to World Standards.

=====================

Reliance has launched this WLL service in India. I am not convinced with the effective ness of this. First of all the user is locked with Reliance for 3 years and can not use the handset with any other provider. Secondly Handset is becoming a commodity and reliance is offering an expensive handset that we might loose often. Also the handset may not be repaired easily. Thirdly the WLL service is not tried and tested in India yet. Fourthly the STD option of 0.40 rs per minute may not be effective as you are aware of the BSNL Tel lines that are not so reliable. Another important point is that there is no agreement with the Cellular service providers. Hence I think, to keep the mobile services simple, buy the handset form the authorized dealer with bill and take the prepaid or postpaid connection depending on your requirement.
