I am a Reliance Prepaid Mobile Subscriber. I have made a payment with payment Id 86177789 dated 26/04/2015 at 22:53:14 for a Prepaid Combo Voucher 35 offer that offers Regular/Core Talk time Rs. 35+ 2 local SMS Valid for 2 days.
The said offer clearly stipulates 2 local SMS Valid for 2 days and mentions Regular/Core Talk Time Rs. 35 and does not stipulates any validity period for Regular/Core Talk Time. I have a screen shot of the offer though, but I cannot attach it here due to the system’s inability. The offers do not have any other stipulation related to validity, except said two days for 2 local SMS.
However, on 05/05/2015, i.e. after 9 days from the date of payment of said subscription for the offer, Reliance illegally or arbitrarily invalidated/forfeited remaining Talk time balance of about Rs. 29 of Regular/Core Talk time from my mobile account.
I have complained with the customer service of Reliance. Also, requested them to reverse the balance amount concerned. But they have impugned rejected my request/complaint, stating that the offer is not updated in the system and they deserves the right to invalidate/forfeit the balance of Regular/Core Talk time after promotional period(unknown to me) of the offer(validity not mentioned) and they hanged up on my face.
However, impugned mentioning of the Reliance support do not stand on a valid ground, considering the offer itself i.e. the Regular/Core Talk Time do not stipulate validity, but Reliance has preferred to misappropriate my money for its own use.
Now, I cannot really bear the cost and the effort to file a court case against it, but to write a review on this website.
I reckon, the Ambanis are rich not because of doing legitimate businesses but also because of some of their staffs - who help them earn money from customers illegally just to get a portion of its share for doing so. Otherwise, they ought to have listened to my request and acted reasonably.
