We appreciate the digital wave Jio bought in our country but I really no longer recommend this network to any of my friends.
Why?
Their customer support, staff, store staff & maybe everyone behaves like Govt employees - you know already what I mean - they won't help you if they don't want to, they are moody, they aren't afraid of their bosses in the team. When you ask for support, their technical support team or customer care team behaves like they are uneducated junkies who got lucky to get this job
When your internet is not working, they have no solution & their customer support team is speechless, they can't even help you look into the issue & suggest the solution without knowing anything about it.
The sim might work well in the first few months but later you'll see frustrating issues like Internet working but hotspot not working, the internet is working but you can't do video call, & many more.
ANother day they pissed me off was when I visited their store and asked for sim, they simply said we don't have sim & they didn't even bother to ask me if I could wait for some days.
It's simply because they have a lot of users but JIO is no longer a good mobile sim offering company.
Instead, try using Vodafone Idea or Airtel, at least their customer support team & staff is educated & the HRs do responsible hirings of the team members.
On the other hand, Jio is a full team of uneducated junkies as I mentioned earlier. Whom to blame? Where to seek help?
Nowhere, simply port the sim by following this step:
Send text message "PORT" followed by your 10-digit mobile number to TRAI's central number for mobile number portability - 1900.
Example: Send'PORT 98xxxxxx98' to 1900. You'll receive an SMS back with a port out code which will remain valid for only 15 days.
All the best.
