I bought a high-end TV and a Microwave from the Reliance Digital Store in Indiranagar - Bangalore. At time of Purchase on 22nd September, I was told the goods will be delivered on 23rd September and installation done either on the same day or the next day. I requested the sales person for installation on 23rd and he agreed to the same.
I received a text message on 23rd morning saying that the goods are out for delivery and there was a number(18001031044) which was provided for any information. At around 12 noon, when none of the goods had arrived or no one contacted me, I called the number. I was told it was a number in Mumbai and they couldn't help and I should call up the store. the person flatly refused to provide either any information or help
The goods did not arrive till 5 pm on 23rd and after my 9th call I was told, only the TV will be delivered and the microwave will be delivered 24th. When I asked for the installation, I was told he will come by 7 pm. I continued to call the store since no one had come by 7 pm. I was told technician will come at 9 pm. Around 8 pm a gentleman call from Reliance Corporate office asking me for my experience for the purchase. I told him the issue and all he could say was "I understand Mam". He was not interested to help or provide any solution. I waited till 10 pm. Neither did the Technician come nor did I receive any calls on the change in plan.
The microwave was delivered on 25th morning. 18 calls made and still the Technician has not shown up for installation, All that I am hearing is another half an hour he will come. For two days I have not been able to go out of my house because of the utter callousness of Reliance Digital
Please shop from Reliance Digital stores at your risk, or unless you are keen to make 10s of calls to them without any resolution
