BSES is the best in the business.. Review on Reliance Broadnet Broadband

First of all I took my BSES Fibre Optic Connection(as they call it)from ''Lancomp Networking''one of the BSES franchises.The connection request was sent to them 3 weeks before I actually got the connection cos it was at a time this kind of service was in its infancy.Well what convinced me to take the connection was my neighbour who took it for a mere 15,000 bucks for 3 years continous internet connection.However I took my connection 3 months later (after my neighbour) and paid 20,000 for 3 years connection in may of 2001.Yes they started increasing the rate later it moved to 25,000 for the same service.Ofcourse you have to pay 1000 rupees for the lan-card they install in you pc or use a lancard of you own,that all you need.No cable modems and hassels.

Service:Well what you get is high speed connection of apprx. 60 kbps with a maximum of 205 kbps and minimum of 10 kbps connection.This means your web-pages load with the wink of an eye and downloads come in very fast.Also you are allowed to connect how many pc's you want to this lan network provided they are in the same residence/office.The connection is 24hrs/7days a week and ''Yes'' there is no dialling and password required to go online.They connection a wire to the lan card in you pc and that how the connection comes.Also they have boosters attached to the locality.Ofcourse there are quirks in this service and sometimes its down for maximum 1 day or maybe 2 days but that is very rare.There is usually very less downtime compared to other players in this service.

Support:They have a very nice support compared to other players,yes they have a BSES help-line and a franchise help-line(main help-line) which are very supportive.They send engineers(or technicians) to the site wherever there is a problem in no time.If they have a genuine problem they admit and make sure the connection is back as quick as possible.During harsh wheater or unknown mishaps if there is a problem with the connection before you complain the engineers are already on work solving the problem.I think they belive in customer support although they have our 20,000 rupees for the 3 year contract.

Conclusions:I highly recommend BSES as I am a Happy BSES user of Bandra west and my bses franchise ''Lancomp Networking''from mahim I think is very nice and supportive.Cable net or fibre optic net(wat-eva you wana call it) is a very good alternative to dial up.
