I booked an SUV from Patna to Bokaro Steel City, 2 days in advance and they deducted 700 rupees as advance. My trip was due 4 30 am and so, I made a call one day before in the morning checking for the booking. Very easily they said not to worry and you will get the bookings confirmed by evening. At 6 pm, they said sorry we have the cab broken and we can't help you with the service. Looking at possibilities, I asked for Sedan and it got booked. Here comes the nightmare.
The driver was right at the time but started asking for the details- how much I paid and I should pay all the money to him and not to them. The sequence of events:
1.He asked for Paytm money and said he needs 2000 now and then again after some time, so that trip is smooth- I replied no worries and will pay you. On asking for Paytm details, he said I have to transfer the money to his brother. He calls up his brother finding he is sleeping. He said he will call him after 2 hours.
2.He asked to transfer the money at 12 pm. I checked and I had no internet connection. we were crossing Koderma and literally, no one had a signal- not even the driver. He started accusing me that I have not transferred when he asked although even he has no signal. He stopped at a place and I borrowed signal from another co-passenger and transferred Rs 50 like he suggested, so that we transfer the entire amount only when he has received the rs 50 amount. His brother never picked his call and he said leave it.
3.One of us has a vomit problem and we have to ask him to stop exactly 3 times during the trip. He was such a foul mouth for the entire trip and started blaming the poor guy for spreading COVID.
4.Since we have to cross Bihar and Jharkhand border, he wanted to be extra sure paying the state tax. He kept looking for the border tax department but he has unable to find one. He wasted 45 mins stopping at every truck walas, He stopped at a cyber cafe and said that he would get this done here quickly, again wasting 45 mins. Finally frustrated, I asked him to rush and in case there is a problem I would bear the entire amount. He kept on his foul mouth accusing and uttering that he missed submitting the tax because of me.
5.In the middle of this nuisance, he asked that I should better pay him money. I said I was only carrying 1500 rs and I can transfer to his account or take money out of ATM and will give him cash. As his brother never responded and he had been sharing ill words to him and said I have to pay him cash. I said no worries, I will pay you as soon as we have an ATM. We checked an ATM and it was not conditional. He started the drama again. We got to another ATM and paid him money.
6.He kept on accusing all the people he has met and the system and using foul words when we had a lady in the back seat.

I am sharing this trauma experience so that you avoid using service from these newly started businesses and better rely on the established players like OLA and UBER. Also ever you meet this person, please stay away
