THE TERRORISM - Part 2

Fighting the Menace:-

After 9/11, everyone talks, talks and talks about terrorism. Be it the UN, Human Rights organizations or any other XYZ conventions we all do nothing but talk about fighting this danger. In reality, will we ever do that?

It’s ironical that those very nations who stand as so called pole - bearers of war against terror are a party to it. The US proved it beyond doubt that there is no barbaric nation than the US itself and that Bush stands out as a bigger war criminal in the recent times. Figures show that in Afghanistan, the number of innocent people killed was much higher than the perpetrators of violence. Those killed included women & children some of whom were barely a few months old and some yet to be born. So now whom do you feel is a bigger terrorist, Bush or Osama? How different is today’s Afghanistan from Bosnia. We in the name of justice prosecute a Milosevic but leave a Bush. Do we still feel that terrorism can be laid to final rest? Why with the passage of each day the already existing hatred is growing more and more? The reasons are simple. The powerful nations try to suppress its weaker counterparts and as a consequence, these small, weak and so - called insignificant section of people rise with a belief that their resistance will end in the downfall of the powerful regimes of the world. Those nations who are helping these resistances through diplomatic and military support want to carryout their revenge on the bigger players, as the same cannot be accomplished through a conventional method of fighting.

Another hindrance in tackling with the terror is the political interference at every step of counter - confrontation. Be it any country, its politicians play a pivotal role in hampering the efforts that the security agencies take up as a counter offensive. Take the case of India only, every time a terrorist strike takes place, be it the Red fort, the Parliament, the Raghunath temple, Amarnath, Akshardham or any incident for that matter, the politicians first of all make all possible noises against the system and how such incident could have been avoided. We are the first to blame the Pakis and its ISI, but when it’s the real time for action these very jokers start thinking about saving their vote bank rather than saving the nation. Agar desh hi nahi rahega to kiss kursi par birajoge?? Be it any political leader and for that matter of any stature, there are times when they take the patronage of these very terrorist groups to remain in power. How much money flows in such deals, its just beyond imagination. To just remind you, the LTTE was an Indian creation only. Everyone knows who gave his or her patronage to it. What later happened, 1991 was a witness to that.

Yes today the picture is very gloomy with no way out in sight but curbing terror needs a joint effort from all the nations of the world. Not just an effort but an honest effort. Let all the nations join in sharing all possible information’s and launching joint operations. Mobilize a strong political will everywhere that “YES WE WILL WIPE OUT THE AATANK”. Give a better hand to the security agencies to fight it out with zero interference from the rashtra ke good for nothing netas. Under the most trying and testing period don’t succumb to any terrorist pressure. Lets avoid another IC 841 Kandhar episode and the final outcome it had. Why to release a terrorist jisko pakadne ke liye na jane kitne jawan shaeed ho gaye honge? All these points and much more will have to be taken care off by us if we want to free the world from the bloody clutches of terror.

PS: Think about it……………………together we can.
