Let’s first take Character Dheela -- a quintessential Salman Khan track -- a typical Bollywood song. The track indeed lives up to its expectations of being racy. One of Pritam’s favourites, Neeraj Sridhar is back for this track.
The beats can make your feet feel light, and bravo you are ready to get jiggy the Salman way. But what make the song more interesting are its fun-filled lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. You can easily sing these tangy words from the song, “Kamar patli ho jitni bhi mazaa utna nasheela hai / Chalega jo bhi hai aankhon ka rang kaala ya neela hai/ Ishak ke naam pe karte sabhi ab raas leela hai…”
The Character Dheela remix is also a treat for remix lovers. It’s more of a mass number.
The much talked about song of Ready is here. Dhinka Chika bears the clear stamp of Salman rather than anyone else. Yes, it does sound exactly like Allu Arjun’s superhit track Ringa Ringa and it was Salman who wanted something like this for Ready.
The guest composer Devi Sri Prasad didn’t have to work hard to rehash the song for Salman. Overall, an enjoyable track, thanks to Mika’s incredible rendition, and don’t pay heed to the wordings; they are just fair to middling. But, if you want to know the 12 different ways to love for twelve months you can refer to this track for guidelines.
Dhinka Chika Remix is just a tolerable track, but what adds zing to it are Mika’s lines and Nikhil Kamath and Amrita Kak’s powerplay at the background.
Enough of fun and masti! Now Salman wants to romance and the song is Humko Pyar Hua. The romantic ballad in the voice of KK and Tulsi Kumar is an average track. But its English lines will work better with listeners. The mandatory remix version doesn’t have much to offer.
The Punjabi classic Picche picche aunda meri chal ve naa aayi gets a new version in Meri Ada Bhi. The song with its frolic mood is part of festivities shown in the movie. You can get the full effect of the song once it comes alive on 70 mm. Remixed version is okay. We tried and tested, you can hear it too.
The music album of Ready has one drawback: it has few songs and there are only two tracks which we can consider as remarkable. Character Dheela is a winner track, and prior to the movie’s release it will be number one. Dhinka Chika has also got its takers; the boisterous track is highly entertaining, and what about the rest? Nothing much to say! Unexpectedly the album turns out to be thanda. Nevertheless, there is something for Sallu’s fans and they can have a blast in Dhinka Chika Re style.
