Value for Money:

Design & Looks:

When I entred into the collage life, like a normal youth, I too wanted to look as handsome as possible. The sunglasses was an inherent part of my fashion accessories. But where was the money to keep a good sunglass? But I kept using normal but funky yet `cheap` sunglasses.

One day, one VIP visited my ST Xavier`s Collage, Ranchi. He had used a deep green sunglass which looked, just as a part of his personality, adding a unique value to his overall look. I went near and tried to find out the name of the company. With great effort, I could read it. It was Ray-Ban.

I was restless now to find the details and more importantly the price. Next day, I was there in a showroom and asked the price of the Aviator model, which I had seen the last day. The shopkeeper understood that I was not going to purchase it. Reluctantly said, Rs 2,800 only. I just said OK and came out swiftly.

That day, I took a vow to work extra hard and get a good job to earn a pair of Ray-Ban sunglass as early as possible.

Four years later, I had the money. Went to the CSD canteen for the Aviator model. Sadly it was not available. The price otherwise was Rs 1800 only, much below the market price. I could not wait anymore and straight went to an exclusive Ray-Ban showroom in Ranchi. I chose a different model for Rs 3390/-

I was at cloud 9. I used it for five years. It fell thrice, but nothing happened, though it needed occassional adjustment for tightening etc. But I was not told by the seller that I needed to protect it from sweating, which meant that immediately after use with sweat I needed to wipe it out. That`s why the glass frame had corroded with little greenish material. One day, accidently, I sat on it and it was not economical to replace the glass.

I, this time. went to my CSD canteen in Air Force Station, Chandigarh and purchased the Aviator Green model for around Rs 2000. It was a perfect fit on the face and not a mild stress on the face, as if I do not have any sunglass on my face. I had a nice and unique feel which a Ray-Ban user can only have.

This time, I did not committ any mistake. I have been provided with a High quality cover and a good material duster too. As per the instructions, I use both the hand while wearing and taking out slowly. Also I immediately wipe it out, let it be with sweat or otherwise.

Not only, it`s a perfect and evergreen style statement, but it`s quite soothing to the eyes. it has 100 percent UV light protection. The style is so perfect that all officers in our Armed forces prefer this as a primary sunglass, especially the Aviator Green. The Gold plated Frame looks attractive and immediately grabs attention of the public.

One can have many choices for sunglasses in reputed brands, but for me other than the Ray-Ban nothing else will do.
