''The Argument Continues....''

“The argument continues…”

This is one topic, where argument can continue, on and on. When I checked out most of the reviews written on this topic, One thing was common, whether it is Toffee or Coffee, the argument had continued and it will continue, the simple reason for this is that every individual who is reading, writing and rating reviews is unique, hence it is difficult to come to a conclusion that I am right and you are wrong.

Before going ahead with my review, let me make something really clear to everyone and I don’t want any controversy.

“The below review is totally based on my experience and based on my view point. If you think that the advice given by me sounds sensible, you can accept, otherwise you can just ignore this entire review(because you think differently).”

For rating, my review, I follow some simple principles, which I find it very easier to judge a person’s viewpoint on that review. Hence, my ratings on a certain reviews are sometimes high and sometimes low. The simple principles, which I follow, are:

”A. Individual is Unique…”

This is the crux of my entire rating, and this is where my view point on ratings start. I think that every individual is Unique and his way of thinking and my way of thinking can be absolutely different. Hence, if on a certain degree, If I feel that the person’s idea’s are not matching then I don’t straight away go ahead mark that review as NR or SR or R which I found most of the individuals doing that. Your viewpoint might be absolutely opposite of mine, I would still rate you as HR based on your presentation and the content.

”B.  You ME-ME You…”

Again probably one of the most important criteria, which I feel should be thought over before rating any review. As I had mentioned earlier no 2persons are same in the same way, no 2 experiences can be same. In one of my review 99% of the people felt Spiderman was a great movie, but I would still say it’s a bad movie, because the law is simple I didn’t like it. Hence, my experience should not be criteria for your rating. It should be again based on the presentation and the content. Its totally true that I felt the graphics was cheap but according to you that must be one of the best graphics, hence its my view and no one can question my view. For eg., I still felt that Devdas is one of the pathetic movie and I could have very well gone ahead and rated everyone who said Devdas was a great movie with NR but I wouldn’t do that because according to that person Devdas is a fantastic movie and he has fully justified his view point from his review. Which I think is the most important part.

Hence, My Bad Experience, needn’t be a Good Experience for you…

C. ”Content Is King…”

Even before, I take into account the presentation for me the content is of outmost important. Many times, people who are new or don’t know the HTML tags, are not able to format their review, but that doesn’t stop me from rating them higher. If your content is precise and you have really justified your view points by giving all the pros and cons then you are eligible for higher rating. I really don’t care whether I agree with you are not, for me, I just want to be satisfied that whether you have covered all areas and in a proper manner. So, your content should be of the outmost factor, don’t even worry whether the other person will agree to or not.

'D. Presentation…'

After you have got all your content, now comes the factor of presentation. Though it is not of that importance but sometimes becomes a factor for higher ratings. A review with proper paragraph, consistency, bold and italics, some innovation, some humor, some good quotes really ads up the joy of reading and makes the reader hooked on to your review, expecting the unexpected. Hence, for me it comes as one factor where I would give you more score and would rate you higher.

'E. Abusive Language…'

Misleading and abusive language would defiantly have various problems from all the  readers. The people who use abusive language are definitely immature people who can’t put up their points across and are just here to make the readers more hostile in giving bad comments and then arguing with him There are people here who write review just to mislead people and to gain popularity. But I fear whether by misleading and by abusing you would gain nothing but showing your childish mentality. Hence, avoid abusive language and misleading the people in the wrong way. If you want to do something like this there are forums where you can spend time, why waste time in such good community where people won’t respect you for your deeds. Hence, if you abusive and mislead people then you are bound to get NR from me.

'F. Multiple Identités…'

This is the biggest problem at any community forum and you can’t stop cowards and fools from doing this. I really don’t understand why do people make multiple ids when they know that they are not going to earn anything. I am sure; one can identify guys who use multiple ids, from their language and their English.

But their will be an argument that, Asyis, how can you say that the person is using multiple ids, I would say by the number of reviews he has written, his language and the day he has joined MS.

'G. Ignore Cowards…'

I am sure most of you have come across people, who for no reason or rhyme will rate your reviews as NR, while most of them have rated your review as HR. You can identify that the people doing such kind of act don’t have the guts to come in front, because:

  1. They wont leave any comment on your review

  2. Even if they leave comment you can see that they have never written a review and I am sure they must be one of the members using multiple ids.

But don’t worry; just by one person rating your review as bad won’t affect your opinion. There are 20others that feel that you have done a great job.

'H. Wrong Location…'

Yes, I agree that writing review on a wrong location is as good as misleading a people. I wouldn’t rate their review, instead advice them to move to a location which is appropriate.  Hence avoid writing reviews on wrong location, if it is not available then tell MS to add your product in the list, I am sure they would not say NO to it.

'I. Reading and not rating….'

Many times, I have seen that people read the review but wouldn’t rate the review. Sometimes it is understood if the review is bad or on a wrong location or a 2liner review or an abusive review. But I have seen people reading some good reviews and ignoring, the reasons can be many and unknown. I would not rate the review only if it’s on a wrong location or a 2liner review or an abusive review.

Hence these were my principle in short.  Keep writing and see me rating your reviews based on the above-mentioned factors…

I am sure, after my review many people will have many thing to say, or may be many arguments, hence I would leave it on a note….

“Whether it is Coffee or Toffee or Whether it is HR or NR, the argument will continue, because no 2 person are same…”
