Writing about rating reviews or reading about them is not as easy for some as it maybe to others. Since I only had written I believe 22 reviews, I certainly in no position to be the expert rater. Believe it or not, I really should be writing more reviews but I right now, I am having a blast reading other people reviews and then I forget to write one myself. Reviews that others have written has taught me this about this site.
Learning to be objective and not judgmental of people.
Learning about products that the ads don't tell us. We the consumers here can learn pro's and con's.
Learning to write better reviews by reading the older reviews have help me out a lot and hoping in the future, I can do better as time allows me.
Sharing comments, helps all of us. Some of the best advice comes from them as well as humor.
How I rate reviews here.
First when I read a review, I will try to understand the writers position and why. If they hate this product, why, what was the cause? Was it defective, not taste good, look good, etc. Please tell as much as you can.
I know we have some young people here and young teens. When I read theirs, I do take in consideration of their ages, education, etc. It is great to have young people here for I find their honest opinions very refreshing. They should be encourage more to write.
My HR consist on how the writer, put out the basic information. The action of words explains a lot at times. I do not judge on grammar for not all reviewers are college educated, some may have handicaps of some form or another. Doing their best is what I like. You are selling me your review is what gets my attention.
My R to me is still good. Maybe, something that was left off or not enough for a full HR.
My Somewhat R...Well, this of course, the writer just really did not try hard enough to really want to make the grade. Sometimes just to write 75 words to make points is what I see at times. I have given HR on 75 words before, but they gave the basics that was needed.
Not recommended...This is usually when a writer, just don't care about their work or the time of involvement. I will give this if a member puts degrading remarks, nasty foul language, or unsuitable bias opinions about others. Criticisms is fine at times and we learn from it. If you give me a not recommended rate, then so be it. I will learn from my mistakes. I certainly not going to give you one in return for spite. That is very immature to me. Stay honest.
