The posters of this movie and that catchy offbeat tune in the promos.. ~tingytinkytingytinkyting~ had given me a feeling that this movie is definitely going to be something very different.
Though my husband likes watching movies, usually the idea to go for a movie comes from me. And then the plan is at the mercy of his mood. But the other day when the sun rose from the west, my husband called me in the office saying.. lets go for Range De Basanti 8 o'clock show!!!!!
I usually don't prefer to go for movies on weekdays. Had it been any other movie I cud have taken the risk of not striking the hot iron by trying to postpone the plan for weekend. But I couldn’t take that risk for Range de Basanti.
It was a Tuesday evening show. And we reached just in time when the titles were being shown.

I'm writing this review for those who still haven’t seen the movie and hopefully haven’t read or heard the storyline from anywhere. Don't delay watching this movie.
This movie is full of surprises. My eyes were glued to the screen throughout the movie. Nothing is predictable. Expect the unexpected every moment. So I don't want to spoil your fun by revealing the plot or talking abt any scenes.
All the actors are very well suited for their respective roles and have performed extremely well. Every character is interesting and stands out.
Each song has a different kind of music. Roobaroo, masti ki pathshala are my favourites.
Background score is different and innovative. Excellent, Smooth, Commendable editing.
If you have liked Dil Chahta hai, Lagaan, Page 3 and Swades, then don't miss Rang De basanti. Coz this movie is a wonderful blend of fun, patriotism and reality of today's life. This movie stirs up variety of emotions in you.
Despite a few flaws and drawbacks, this movie ROCKS!!
So just just go for it!!!! And don't miss the beginning:) Enjoy!!!!!!!
