Note: Hey dear reader's, 'Paint it yellow' is the english name of the movie. Also keep in mind that since this is my first movie review and not being a movie buff, apologies for any spelling mistake or so...

Mohe Rang De basanti yaara..................goes the title track. Well from it only, you could judge that what this movie is all about. :) So, after reading many all kinds of reviews (+ve & -ve) on Mouth shut, leaving my exams worry behind, went to see it yesterday (19th February) in a theatre near my house.

In one word, if I had to describe the movie: Exceptional...

This one featured both the qualities/aspects: funny & sensible. A kind of a movie which I have seen after a long long time as from it every person watching across the globe could/can learn some or the other thing.Throughout it kept me glued to the screen -'Fevicol Ka Joord'..It inspired me and left a big impact...

Director: Rakesh Omprakash Mehra

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

Taaliyaan , Taaliyaan, he has done a fantabulous job as compared to his precious work/movie 'Aks'. He has shown improvement in every field, so we await more such patriotic/funny/masti se bharii movie's from his side.

----------------------

Star Cast:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

Aamir Khan as DJ- 'DJ da waada'..........One of his favourite dialogues. He as usual beside his bad ones acted very well. I specially liked the way he spoke those Punjabi And Hindi variations or you could say accents also. Justified the character's role that he was given.

Alice Payton as Sue: She played a vital role in the movie. Her acting was good but somehow lacked something....:P She could speak Hindi better than other actresses compared to the ones in lagaan & Mangal Pandey. In the second half of the movie, her role was very little....

Soha Ali Khan as Sonia She was also a part of the Aamir Khan gang. I found her very sweet and 'Sharmilee' type of a person. Did her job nicely.

Madhavan as Ajay: In this particular movie, I liked every thing about him. He left a feeling in the mind that he has some amount talent and could do wonders. He is a flight leftinent in RDB.

Kiron Kher as Mitro: Kiron Kher normally does a drama role. But here she's all together different. She has been given both a comic + religious role.I liked the way she slapped DJ for his non-seriousness towards life.

Other Actors Were :

Siddharth as Karan

Kunal Kapoor as Aslam

Sharman Joshi as Sukhi

Atul Kulkarni as Laxman Pandey

Waheeda Rehman as Ajay's Mother

Anupam Kher

Kiron Kher as Mitro

Lekh Tandon as DJ's Grandfather

So a short note on the story :

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

Sue working in UK (London) was astonished by the sacrifices made by our famous freedom fighters (Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bismil) who fought and died for our country without any hesitation. With the help of the points written by her grandfather in a diary, when he was a jailer in 1920's, she wanted to make a documentary on the Indian Freedom Fighters. Due to lack of funds, she came to India and met Sonia (Old friends).Sonia introduced Sue, to all her college friends, Sukhi, DJ, Laxman, Aslam, Ajay etc. When Sue requested Aamir and his friends to act in the documentary, These people were not serious at all & were taking things very easily in life until they watched the inspirational movie which described the efforts of The Freedom Fighters. As the movie moves on, Sonia & Ajay get married. Ajay when flying a MIG-20 plane, due to some faulty parts crashed. His mother and wife Sonia were deeply hurt. So, They all(Sonia' Friends) couldn’t tolerate the comments given by The Defense Minister on Ajay, taking inspiration from the earlier movie which Sue had showed them, they killed the Defense Minister......with proper strategy...

Did they Confess or tried to run away from police???

What happened to Sue and her Documentary????

What happened to Sonia and Ajay's Mom??

Interesting huh???? To find Out -Quickly Go & Watch The Movie....:)

Music:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

AR Rahman has done a gr8 job in the music department though I dont like him very much.Specially the songs like- Title Track, Khalbali,Masti Ki Paath Shaala are truly awesome and funny too. They remind us of both past and the present too.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------- Dialogue's:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

I liked:

  1. When Sue comes to India, in the taxi---------Says

Dadaji sahi kehte the,India se Pehli Nazaar Mein hi Pyaar Ho Jaata Hai

  1. When Aamir and co..---------Say

'Inkalaab Zindabaad'

I didnt Like-

  1. When Sue Says---

' I have worked in bloody india for this....'

  1. When Aamir's Friend Say--

'Iss Desk Ka Kuch Nahi Ho Sakta.....'

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

What I didnt liked about the film??:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

The sick dialogues spoken by Aamir Khan and once by Sue Also. I would not mention them. The people who have watched the movie, know what I am talking about.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

My Take On The Movie:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------

The movie reminds me of one famous quote which would be enough for you to understand:

''If you don’t like something, either change it or dont crib about it...''

The movie clarified my doubts about various freedom fighter. Also tought me other various aspects of life that everybody has to go through many ups and downs before becoming famous. We should not relax at any point of time.... or feel defeated. Every beginning is a new one.Talking about corruption, it's there in India & every other country also but who will remove it completely????It's only us who can bring about the change and do something about it.

So to sum up, it was a excellent movie with some good performances, soothing songs. It's surely watchable with family.
