Spent a night at Rambagh Palace for our 10th marriage anniversary and while I have visited a lot of palace properties of Taj in the past, I must say this one surpassed even my super high expectations!
Goes without saying that it's a beautiful property... lovely lobby area, the gardens, the royal corridors.. it's all stunning!! The welcome upon our arrival was royal and yet so warm. It was our anniversary and everyone made us feel at home, wished us. Vikas, who leads the Palace Experiences, was so amazing all the while we were there. We were greeted warmly by him and Himanshi and we were upgraded to a room with 2 beds so kids could have their own bed. I have to say - one of the best rooms I ever stayed in.
What really blew us away was what happened in the evening. We were called to a decked up room, not knowing why, but they planned a surprise Anniversary celebration for me and my wife. There were some 10+ staff members and a person playing the flute helping us create such a memorable moment!! Will never forget it.
On our checkout too, Vikas insisted on us keeping the room till 4 pm so we could freshen up before heading to the airport. It was super thoughtful of him!!
There were many more amazing things - Sheetal was very helpful with our photoshoot and we had a good experience with Altamash. I am forgetting names but all the staff was excellent and there were many small small thoughtful touches that we experienced all through our stay.
In conclusion, I'll say that I will definitely be returning to Rambagh palace and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone to reads this review..I have already in fact recommended it strongly to many of my close friends.
