When I grew and starting to see any newspaper it was Rajasthan Patrika. In Rajasthan State only Rajasthan Patrika was only newspaper who was stand alone with monopoly since December 1996. Its Chief Editor Mr.Gulab Chand Kothari is a well known person not only in Rajasthan but also in India. He is a very intelligent and literate person, who wrote a lot of books on Vedas. Rajasthan Patrika, at present, having two competitor they are Dainik Bhaskar and Mehka Bharat. Now in Rajasthan very close competition between Dainik Bhaskar and Rajasthan Patrika. Basically Rajasthan Patrika is known as Bhartiya Janta Party ka Akhbaar. Its editorial is really meaning full and having depth. News always complete and prompt. on mid page 'Subhashit Pradeep' in which moral from ethics and ancient stories covered daily. 'Baat Karaamaat' is an interesting feature on current topics. Printing and papers is very good. Coverage standard is high. Every day one extra issue we find with News paper on Family (Parivaar Parishishtha), Cinema (Bollywood) etc. Contests and compeitions are organised by Rajasthan Patrika and in lot of competitions I have also won lot of good and prizeworthy prizes. Except this 'Rajasthan Patrika' organise lot of public utility conferences, exhibitions etc. Every year in December-January a huge exhibition of Books organised by Rajasthan Patrika. Recently in November a Yoga-Meditation Camp has been organised by it. Over all we can say that Rajasthan Patrika is Rajasthan Ri Patrika.
