Sob!sob sob……the story moves around a tiny tod ‘Rahul’.
Shooo the lil’ kid is asleep and is dreaming about a studio set with everything white around him,and a lady wearing a white saree and calling out the kid’s name. One cannot control dreams…..Even if they are about ghosts in studios…
You see the parents have split over a mere chocolate cake,an expensive suit, blah, blah…….
How sad!!!!???
The squabbling discords between Mum(Neha) and Dad (Jatin Grewal) over minor matters makes your 3 hour stay rather distressing and one feels why can’t they resolve all this it’s just a matter of few minutes.
But,NO!!!!!!!! They won’t coz’ the story has to move for 3 hours. So the lil’ lad Rahul (played by Yash Pathak) has to suffer.
Believe me he’s sho….shweet….!!!He plays a cute, innocent toddler who claims to know everything.
His friend include Isha(who claims herself to be ‘Magica’),takes care of the kid and behaves as his nanny.
Others are John Uncle(played by Gulshan Grover),deafened neighbour and a big doggie(woof!!woof!!).
Rahul stays with his Pop but after 5 years he has to go to the court and choose between his maa and his “Swabhimani” paa.
In between Pop goes for jogging, excercises and works out and even decides to marry a descent gal(played by Rajeshwari) whereas Maa enjoys playing the piano and has a rather symphatetic proposal.
The characterization of the movie is rather weak.
Akash(Rahul’s papa) plays the role of a high self esteemed and egoistic person. The worst thing about him is,constantly filling up his boy’s mind with hatred for his mum.
Rahul is the sweetest thing in the movie and one could stick around to watch him.
Neha has played her role with dignity and has done a pretty fair job.
The songs of the movie Augh!!!!! they are too boring, one could go and munch on something or make those important phone calls or go to the loo …..They could be stated as the mini intervals of the movie.
The climax of the movie is very pushy..Young lad’ falls sick and is in the ICU upset over his mom’s and dad’s split (based on a chocolate cake)…..
All in all, pretty disappointing.
