No story....but it still goes on & on. Review on Rahul

CHARACTERS-cutie Yash Pathak as Rahul,Jatin(ok looks,worse acting)as Aakash the divorced father,pretty Neha as Meera the divorced mom,and a whole lot of other ridiculous characters.Not to forget Mahesh Thakur-who doesnt get the girl AGAIN,and Rajeshwari who is pretty good as Sheela the to be step mom.Gulshan Grover plays John uncle pretty well.Also a little girl(I didnt get her name )playing Isha jadugarni,rahul`s best friend---she brings a fresh breath of air to the otherwise dull movie.

STORY-mystery...that is..the viewer has to look for it.

FORMULA-same old stuff,rich girl-poor boy,fall in love,girl leaves her ''mahal'' for the simple lad,they marry have a baby,then the rich relatives interfere in this case the girls brother and mother(Neena Kulkarni,brilliant actress wasted in this film).After a lot of insults,abusing and showing each others ''aukaad'' the girl is finally seperated from the boy and the baby remains with the father.The kid is shown juggling between two insensitive and stupid parents who keep abusing each other in front of the poor kid.Only after the kid is ill in the I C U and the audiences patience is running out do the parents realise their faults.

Yash pathak is really cute and is a good actor I think he has a good future in the film line,go and see the film only for him because other than that there is nothing to watch.

The trauma that kids of divorced parents go through is an important and serious subject and absolutely necessary in todays world of fast marraiges and even faster divorces,but it could have been handled more sensitively and sensibly.

Overall a forgettable film.
