The first thing which comes to your mind after watching the movie is wow!! Its simple and nice. The message is also very straight. Surinder Sahani (SRK) loves his wife madly. But his wife Tanni (Anushka sharma) doesnt love him. Though she agreed to the marriage herself she is not much happy with it. Her marriage to Surinder took place as a result of some unhappy circumstances(now to know what are they...u sd watch the movie).
So, surinder wants her wife to fall in love with him. Enters Raj - surinder in disguise to win tanni's heart. And though he is very irritating most of the times...he was capable to do so. Tanni tries hard to adjust with surinder. But then she follows her heart and falls for Raj. The story comes to the climax. Surinder decides that he will be there for tanni but if tanni chose raj. Then he will simply vanish from her life. At the climax, tanni some how finds "Rab" in surinder and decides to stay with him and they end up as a happy family living happily ever after.
The plot is not so strong but it is srk as surinder whom you should watch. The character is subtle and srk performed very well. One great thing is thet there are some comedy scenes where the laughter will come from within you. With no actors doing cheap 'harkat' to draw your attention. You can laugh out your soul after a tough day. Tell me, how many movies of recent gave us this chance?!! You can go to the theatre for this only.
The music is also good according to the script. Specially the "hole hole.."song is used nice as a background score as well. However, there are some extra songs.like where some of the well known bollywood beauties are dancing with raj. The whole song sequence was extra and the director could have done with out it. Kudos to aditya chopra for showing us a new angle of srk. And also giving us a film that the whole family can enjoy. (infact beside me there were dada-dadi to nati-natni of a family). The movie is a better one than his earlier "Mohabbatain..".
