Quora has now become the “go-to” place for all range of answers and questions on the Internet.
For the ones who are new to Quora, kindly don’t assume that it is a monotonous Q&A website. Quora is a social platform where like -minded people can connect based on their choices of topics and answers.
It has answers not only on General Knowledge Technical stuffs but most of the answers are experience – based answers where Quora users have shared their experiences, liking and made recommendations about all spheres of life.
It is an enriching site where you can gather tons of information on all kind of stuffs and in an interesting way . Remember, Quora is not like Facebook where you will get updates about people s’ lives and photographs of their activities. Here, you can know about people ‘s experiences on their life moments and stories of joy, sorrow, hope, awkward things, life hacks and all that you can imagine . Then again, you can also comment, reply and message people regarding answers or engage in social interactions.
However, Quora has a strict moderation policy and anything unrelated will be shot down and only relevant things tend to survive on Quora.
De-Merit: Just like Facebook, you can get addicted to Quora and here since you are reading answers, that can actually take more of your time. From my personal experience, I know about this Quora addiction stuff from my semester exam days.
My advice: get yourself on Quora but do not make it an addiction. It will help you but you must know how to use it efficiently.
A 5 star rating on Quora from my side.
