Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak marked the debut movie of Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla as a lead actors. The movie received huge appreciation and made Aamir and Juhi over nigt stars. The fact that the movie was big hit was not only due to its great love story but also because of its music. The song were the best and are still liked by everyone.
The album was released in 1998 which consisted 5 songs and an additional song which is a sad version of 'Papa Kehte Hai'. The music is composed by the music director due Anand-Milind and all the song were sung by the magical voices of Udit Narayan and Alka Yagini. The lyrics was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri
Papa Kehtai Hain is the first song of the movie pictured on Aamir Khan with the vocals of Udit Narayan which suits the best on the young Aamir. The song connects best to the youth as it had the lyrics which conveyed message that the children's dreams are different from the their parent's expectation and they would love to do what they like. The song is still popular because of it connection to youth and their parents.
Aye Mere Humsafer is my favorite song from the album. This one has vocal of both Udit and Alka. This song is about keeping patience in the hard time and waiting for the right time to come. This song is one of the most popular song from the album and has the best lines.
Akele Hai Toh Kya Gum Hai is again sung by both Udit Narayan and Alka Yagini and the song lasts for 5.57 min. This is a love song which has a good lyrics and a slow song. This is a copy of instrumental song Return to Alamo by the band The Shadow.
Ghazab Ka Hai Din is another awesome track and it has slow and pace rhythm. Best song to hear it when traveling or before falling asleep.
Kahe Sataye is a solo song by Alka Yagini and is also the shortest 2.18 min. This one is the least I like out of all the song in the album. Having siad so doesn't mean that this song is bad but other songs are better than this one.
Over all this one is a fantastic album with all song ranging from good to excellent.
