VERY GREEDY DOCTOR DUO. Nagaraj and Punyavathi. Review on Punya Hospitals - Bangalore

I'm sharing my honest experience here, after my 2nd visit to these so called Doctors. My first visit was around 15yrs back, then these couples were running small nursing home called Punya Hospital near Kurubarahalli. We have taken my mother to them and she was suffering from vomiting and fever. These doctors asked us to admit her immediately, so we did. Even after 4 days, my mother's health didn't improve and when we started questioning the doctor about the kind of treatment which was utterly useless, the doctor tried to convince us by telling the patient will become normal in another 2 days instead of giving the proper treatment and discharge the patient, they wanted to keep the patient in hospital as long as possible. Then we decided to move her to some other hospital and demanded the doctor to discharge immediately but the doctor was not willing to do it.

Finally, when we started to protest against them they had to discharge the patient. Then we moved my mother to the government Isolation hospital at old madras road. Guys you believe or not, we admitted here around 12pm, the doctors immediately given the treatment and my mother started feeling well within 2 hrs and the same evening she got discharged from the hospital. And by very next day she was absolutely normal. It was my very first horrible experience with these greedy private hospitals.

And my 2nd experience is very recent one i.e. on 20th March '2023. My sister-in-law was suffering from gastritis, she has gone through severe stomach pain and she is 8 months pregnant also, so we didn't want to take any risk so we have taken her to Punya Hospital, Basaweshwaranagara on 20th March '23 at 1:30 midnight. And we were unaware of the fact that this Punya hospital is the same hospital which we had horrible experience earlier, shifted to Basaweshwaranagara now and the same doctor couple is in charge here too. There were no professional doctors at the time of admission, only some assistants were there. They asked us to admit the patient first and continued to say we will start the treatment now and the doctor will come tomorrow morning and check the patient's condition. But we asked the staff to call the doctor immediately as the patient is pregnant too, they denied and said no doctors can come now, only if you admit the patient we can ask the doctor to come early morning or else the doctor will come after 11am only. After the admission at 1:30 am in the midnight no doctor were turned up till 12 in the afternoon and all the treatment has been given by assistance only.

Finally, Dr. Nagaraj visited the patient and told assistance to give some medicine(already they loaded lots of medicines throughout the night and day, how would we know those medicines were required or not). Soon after the medicine given she feels burning like sensation and we called the doctor again and asked him about the medicine which given to her as she feels uncomfortable immediately after injecting it, and the doctor instead of convincing us behaved like local rowdy and started to talk like "nodu guru, kelsko guru, nanu doctor guru neenalla, en madbeku antha nanag gotthu neenu helbeda" he keep on talk to me singularly.

By that time we came to know that these duo doctors are same doctors with whom we had horrible experience earlier. We were frustrated by these hospital staffs and doctors and decided to discharge my sister-in-law as she was feeling ok and asked the doctor to do the same but the doctor wasn't ready to discharge and said we have to observe her for couple of days more as she is pregnant too and he asked to stay in hospital for one/two days. But we didn't agree, then that so-called doctor said one more scanning has to be done now to check the condition of the baby, if everything is good we will discharge the patient. There is no scanning facility was available in the same hospital that day as there was a problem and sent us to nearby scanning center and also sent a Jr. Doctor with us.

After the scanning done the Jr. Doctor went to technician's room and asked us to stay outside only. But we had the doubt that what is happening inside the room, why the Jr. Doctor went inside and didn't allow us. The "Real Drama" was about to start as we expected when we went back to the hospital with scanning report. Suddenly 3, 4 doctors comes to the patient room one by one including a pediatric doctor and started to narrate their script. The baby is infected and baby's heartbeat is too high, lack of oxygen level, we should do the surgery immediately otherwise the baby will be in a dangerous situation, soon after the C-section we should keep the baby in NICU and given us half an hour deadline to decide. Kept on coming to the room back to back and pressurized us to decide immediately and said we should arrange the expert surgeons only for the operation as the baby is already infected.

Then finally we decided not to become the victims and asked to discharge the patient immediately as she was feeling normal and also the baby's activities seemed normal. And the entire hospital staffs and doctors were utterly disappointed with our decision and they showed it while billing. The overall bill was around 25k and it's not even 24hr. These greedy doctors charge 1500 per visit, in case he visits the patient 10 times for the same problem then he charges 15, 000/-.

Well, they added so many things in the bill like bed charges(common everywhere), right kidney inspection and left kidney inspection(charged it separately), upper stomach inspection and lower stomach inspection etc. and etc. and making sure that the bill should cross 25k. We paid the bill without asking anything b'coz we just wanted to move out of this brutal hospital. Oh God, finally we are out of the hospital now. Very next day we took her to the gynaecologist whom we visit for the regular check-up, she examined her and guaranteed that the baby is absolutely normal and we should wait till the expected delivery date.

REMEMBER GUYS, ALL THESE SITUATIONS WE WENT THROUGH BECAUSE MY SISTER-IN-LAW WAS SUFFERING FROM ONLY GASTRITIS PROBLEM. WHAT WOULD BE THE THING IF WE GO TO THESE KINDS OF HOSPITALS WITH SOME MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES? 25K TO TREAT THE GASTRITIS PROBLEM FOR ONE TIME???

I SUGGEST YOU, DON'T THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING TO THIS HOSPITAL, DON'T GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. THE GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS ARE FAR BETTER.

PUNYA is in the name only, all they do is PAAP only. The so-called Doctors are very nice only if you say OK all the time but if you question them they behave like a ROGUE.
