I hold a salary savings bank in Punjab National Bank. The address of the branch is Bengal College, S S B Sarani, Bidhannagar, Durgapur - 713212. IFSC code is PUNB0476700, MICR code: 713024201. This particular branch of Punjab National Bank is so worst and lenient in service that I just got fade up. This Branch have its own ATM machine but 99 out of 100 times the machine is dead. The behavior of the bank staffs are very very rude. Recently one of my colleagues gave an application to this branch to transfer his account to PNB, Siliguri Sevoke Road Branch as he shifted to Siliguri. But after couple of days when the account transfer was still pending he phoned me and told to inquire in the branch about the delay. So I went to the branch and they said that they just have lost the application. What ridiculous, meaningless is this? They are so irresponsible that they have lost the application! Couple of months ago I went to Bajaj Finance office to obtain an EMI card so when I filled up the form and mentioned the branch name and submitted they just declined me and said Bajaj Finance doesn't have link up with this particular branch of PNB due to their poor and lethargic service. I am really got pissed off with the service they are giving.
But thanks to God that I have enabled the internet banking of PNB. The https://netpnb, com site is really very good and I am really very happy with their internet banking service. You can do almost everything just on a single click without visiting the branch.
