I am dumb founded by the critical reviews posted here against pune central Mall when the issues are related to the retailers and not the Mall management per se. I went there this weekend and was thoroughly impressed by what the mall stood for, as a specialty high end Home furnishing/design single point location.
To that end I think it is really commendable. But it seems they are finding hard to attract people in, partially to do with lack of awareness, location, parking fee, and lack of interest in people about the concept.
Though the biggest reason seems to be lack of attractive stores, besides Natural Living and similar stores, all the rest seem to provide 0 value for money, such as Hometown, etc.
I really hope that idea succeeds and good stores open at mall find success so that customers have an option of mall such as this for all there home furnishing needs.
