I ordered Puma shoes as shown in the image, online through the official website of the company in India. Normally I am very wary of the online orders I receive because all the scams they do while delivering it. But, when these shoes were delivered I wasn't present at home and my elder brother accepted them (and he didn't checked it then and there).
Anyway, I came home and opened the delivered order and to my shock, I receive someone's used shoes and also they were torn.
I was highly disappointed and I tried to contact the company's customer care through call, email and website. I have never been more disappointed (well, this was just the beginning).
After struggling for 2 days, I was able to contact them and told them about my grievances, and they said they will look into it. I gave them all the necessary details and provided them with the images of received product. After this, again there was a silence for about a week and a half from them, and they never called me from their side to confirm the status of my query or to tell me anything else regarding it.
At last, I called them again and asked them of the status regarding the query. They told me that they conducted an investigation in which they asked all the delivery executives and company's warehouse members if they took the shoes out from my order. And, all of them said "no".
(What did they expected? To someone come to them and tell them that they stole the product? Just because you asked them? Is that what you call an investigation?)
I told them to provide me with proof of order not being changed or exchanged in the middle, they said they don't do that & gave me no proof of it.
After this, they said to me that your query has been solved and they are closing the query. I said no, my query is not solved and I would like to keep it open as I need some proof. They closed it anyway. I again opened an another query with them, as expected no response from them and when I called them they said, "your queries have been solved, so we cannot do anything and we are being told by our superiors to close the query." (Shouldn't I be the one to decide if my query has been solved?).
I am left with no options.
My money is gone.
I have no shoes.
And I have complained about this in the consumer forum. (which is a government civil court, so it will take its own time).
I am highly disappointed in the company. Even after ordering shoes from their official website I am facing such issues and getting no concession for my grievances and not even a proper response from them.
Anyone reading this, kindly purchase puma shoes online at your own risk. As company takes no responsibility and doesn't even care about you after you have paid for it.
