1. Salary and Benefits -
What you get initially is what you will have to be happy with. For last 2 years there is no hike.
2. Job Security -
They continuously evaluate people who are on bench. If you are not "up" for the role, you are in the queue to be out.
3. Career Growth - Client Work - 10-12 hours per day. For career growth, you need to enroll in their learning program. Learning Program has more than 400 hours worth of content, production grade application to be built by you and you need to undergo multiple assessments. It would take another 20 hours per week to get it done. This will atleast take a year and half. Many people evaluate and discuss that with much less effort than this, they can find a better job outside. Only thing working in company's favour is poor market. Once the market opens up, 50% of the company would move out.
4. Work Environment -
This depends from project to project. In my project, it is okay.
5. CEO Rating -
I don't know but he might be good. But I don't think his next level of leaders have the right vision. Everyone sings their own song. It's not music to the ear.
6. Senior People -
I have specially added this for manager and above population. Career growth is extremely slow. They will keep doing PR that once you do this and that, we will promote you. it is a trap. Things which they expect you to do as part of business impact, craft and company will well take around 100+ hours weekly contribution for next 4-5 years. After that also if the client or company is not doing good, please don't expect anything.
7. Work Quality -
Most of the clients have moved into building things by themselves. Companies like PublicisSapient only provide people in staff aug mode. I know senior managers who code and that too on things which 5 yrs epxerience guy can easily do. Client will not include you in any major decisions or discussions. However sapient side leadership would keep looking for "client impact" which is good for your level. There are no opportunities for the same.
8. Onsite -
Depending on your client and the situation at that time, you might get an opportunity to travel if you want to. However, salary there is not great. I know many people who were offered onsite, did their cost benefit analysis and finally figured out that leaving company and joining somewhere else in India is more lucrative than being stuck in the same company in onsite.
All in all, it is not a great company. Please don't have high expectations if you plan to join even after this review.
