Not Worth It. Review on Prizes2B1

Whenever I need a real refreshment, I seek out for the internet. But with Mouthshut coming into my list, it was hard for me to find time for other websites. Such has been the bearing of this site on me. But not many websites impress as much as this site does. One such website is http://www.Prizes2b1.com . By a long way, this site doesn't fall into MS category but being a contest site, it fails to impress me in more ways than one. So, I hereby would like to share some of my thoughts on this site.

How I found it?: Well, actually I found this site's name in Mouthshut.com's Press section. It was some 6 months back and then, I was really looking out for contests, prizes and stuff. Say I had not grown wise for I was new to MS. Anyway, went there to find out that the sign up is free and can win great prizes. I registered and went to the ''Play Now'' section. I found a total of 7 games or say contests on offer. From then on, I have visited the site upteen number of times and now, it is totally out of my favourite list. There are quiet a few reasons and I'll write about that later.

The design: The design of the site is quite colourful. Firstly, you'll have the route to India or UAE on giving the site's name and once you are into the India section you have the login page. If you have registered then you can directly login or else, you've got to register. Moving to the main page you'll have the contests, 7 of them, on display. At the top, you have the Logout Link, Play Now, Register, Winners Gallery, Rewards, My Account, Bid away, Spread the Word, Promote a Prize and Answers. Below, you have the contest links glowing bright and you can directly enter the respective contest page and follow the links. To sum it up the design of the site is really attractive, colourful (with a blue tinge), user friendly and to an extent fast too.

The Contests: As I said before, there are 7 contests. 2 of them are daily contests, 4 of them are monthly contests and one Super Lotto is a monthly one. Here are details of the contests that are on.

1. Memory: First among the contests, you have a memory game in which you'll have to complete the game within 15 chances. Well, this game shouldn't be a problem for the intelligent Indians in any case. You'll get 100 reward points on playing this and one winner every day will get 50,000 points.

2. Unscramble: This is not a big brain twister. There would be three words belonging to the same category, scrambled. You've got to unscramble them. Again, the winner of this contest would get 50,00 points everyday.

3. Flick of the Week: This is a weekly contest for all our movie buffs. There would be some questions pertaining the week's hit movie and you've got to answer them. This would fetch you 100 participation points as well as 50,000 points on winning. I believe there are more than one winner for this contest.

4. Name that Place: Well, this is a questionare about places giving description of it. If you are an intense geographist, this would be child's play for you. Once again the rewards are the same. This is a weekly contest.

5. Know it all: This is a quiz which will ask you some crazy questions and on answering them, you would be given 100 participation points but the probability of winning this contest is rather low. You can find out the reason yourself.

6. Bollywood Stars: This is a contest on your favourite Bollywood stars and features questions on their latest movies and stuff. If you are a serious movie watcher, you can certainly go through this quickly. I don't think this contest is as impressive as it should be.

7. Jackpot Lotto: This is one of the biggest reward points winning contest on offer. You get to win 1,00,000 reward points and all you have got to do is pick 5 numbers out of 25 numbers on the basis of one for each row. If you have the grace of Luck God with you, who knows, you might be the winner.

The Points: On registeration, you'll get 2500 points and playing every game, you accumulate 100 points. For every valid reference, you get 750 points. Each time you play a game, you get 100 participation points. But the funniest part is that the least reward available out here is for 50,000 points and upon calculations you find that 1000 points sums up to 1 Ruppee.

My thoughts: Unfortunate souls like me have never had the grace of the Luck God...okay...Goddess. Till today, I have not won even a single contest and have accumulated just over 10,000 points. So I am not sure as to whether you would really get the points redeemed for as of now it seems a highly impossible task for me to reach the coveted 50,000 mark for atleast to get a Dil Chahta Hai cassette. More so, there are very few contests and so, there is no wide scope of winning. The contests are not lucrative either. Something says to you that there is so much little that you can do out here. This is what has driven me away from this site.

In conclusion, I would like to add that you can check this site once and one last time. It is definitely not worth more than that. If you are looking for some fun then there are innumerable places on the net other than this. Thats because there is so very little that you can do out here. I certainly wouldn't recommend this site to anyone seriously or may be I would, if in any case I happen to win, which doesn't seem to be a good probability. So better stay off this site and that is my humble suggestion, advice or whatever.
