If you really ask me I have been using a pre-paid card since the last two years, and have found it to be useful in many ways. It is true that having a prepaid card limit's your expenditure to the coupon value of the recharge coupon you purchase, but one can make STD/ISD Calls from the prepaid mobile card by default, which can be useful if you have to be in touch with loved ones in other cities on the move. Not only that, SMS messages is more useful in prepaid. Besides, I found it very useful to have various coupon rates to choose from, so that the month you think you will need more airspace, you could buy a larger coupon rated renewal, where as on months when budgets ran low you could opt for a lower priced coupon. The only problem is when you run out of money while talking outstation on a low balance, but then I guess you can never be too careful, can you?
