A correction - this review is actually for the Pratap's Wild Dining which is in the adjacent building to Pratap Dhaba. The address is: Shop No 31 & 32, Link Plaza, MHADA Complex, Next to Punjab & Maharashtra Bank, Oshiwara, Andheri(W), Mumbai
This is a fun jungle-themed restaurant for kids and adults who are kid-like:)
I have gone here twice with family and the kids really enjoyed the place. The decor is like a jungle with lots of plastic trees/greenery etc. around. There is a wooden bridge in the centre and lots of figures of tribals, animals etc. The fun part is that every one hour the lights go off and there is a light and sound show with the figures moving. The kids enjoy that!
They have a buffet there(dont remember the price but it is quite reasonable - around 600 per person I think). There is a mix of Indian and Chinese dishes(nothing very new but the usual paneer/chicken dishes, jeera rice/pulao etc.). Even though the dishes are unoriginal the quality is good. Also, there are unlimited starters served at the table - the starters are very good and we usually end up full before we start the main course.
They also have decent desserts of 3-4 types with icecream.
If you are going on a weekend night, do go early since it gets packed.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a fun family dinner, not if you are looking for a fine dining experience or variety or great food.
