After reading all the reviews on this site, I was not sure that I wanted to see the movie. But, being a Mahesh Manjrekar fan, I had to see it once. And I liked the movie. Some of the scenes are loud, yes. Some don't make any sense, yes. But overall, it is a good satirical movie, with good entertainment value.
It has some genuinely funny moments. The performances are OK. Essentially a Mumbaikar movie, I fell people all over can enjoy it if they watch it with an open mind. Mahesh Manjrekar is good in this movie again, and so is Raveena. Supporting cast is very well picked. Some vulgarity, but essential I feel. Not a standard, typical hindi movie. The strenght lies in its unpredictability. The movie does lose focus a bit in between, but comes back to track well.
Not as good a satire as Jane Bhi Do Yaaroon, but not too bad either.
