Generally, we middle-class Indians have never had pizza at any Italian restaurant, so we cannot judge the real aroma or fragrance of different pizzas. Whatever is being served, we treated them as the real taste of Pizza. And these pizza food joints, especially Pizza Hut knows how to add the Indian taste in Italian Pizza and sell them like anything.
It is unfortunate for me that despite my above mentioned words for these pizza joints, I am the regular visitor of Pizza Hut as this is the only joint that offers at least better taste with no fragrance . Pizza hut has a very small menu but you can get good taste in just one or two items and those items make the Pizza Hut number one among other Pizza joints in India. In comparison what the other Pizza joints offered, Pizza Hut kept less bread based pizzas in the menu, and the good example is Veg-o-le.
Apart from pizza, I have never seen people are having any other cuisines there, like pasta, salad, or macaroni. Could be the reason that those are not as per the Indian standard in taste. Even, I have tried pasta and that was somewhere in between the lines. Its garlic bread is very hard. Also, it is hard to find the refined aroma of garlic in this. Drinks are pretty common and average in taste.
I wont say services are extraordinary but still it is good and per the expectation. And what would you expect the guyz serving you, speaking and understanding English while being undereducated.
If we talk about ambience and cleanliness, Pizza hut is leading. I have never seen that restaurant is not clean, or plates/forks/knifes are not properly placed and clean. You will find every furniture and utensil properly placed and clean. On top of everything, the restaurant is Family friendly, and when you're eventually served you probably won't be surprised.
I do recommend Pizza hut because it is best fit for your pocket when you and your family visits the place, and you can get good taste with one or two less bread items.
