Yes you have read correctly, being a food item, the quality of their product is very poor and unhygienic. Taste can be compromised with but 'Hygiene' is one thing that cannot be compromised in any way, as it directly puts the customer's health at risk.
Unfortunately, I ordered a pizza online from Pizza Hut, Malad (W), Mumbai brand at 9.40 pm and gullibly made an online payment. I got an sms at 10 pm that my pizza is out for delivery. As my house is just 5 minutes from their store, when I did not get the pizza by 10.30 pm I called them up for the status(I was under the impression that maybe the delivery person would have lost his way) and requested the store to call me back in case of any issue.
I got my pizza delivered by 10.45 pm (exactly 1 hour after the order was placed and 45 minutes after dispatch.
The pizzas were cold as ice and completely hard.** They gave me the seasoning wrapped in their pamphlet. Now normally the seasoning is generally in sachets but in my case the seasoning was open and wrapped in pamphlet. (See picture). You can also see the dirt in the seasoning.
*This is a new low in cheap quality. How can a company put the customer's health at risk?
I immediately called up their customer service and made a complaint. They promised me to revert in the next 5 minutes. When I did not get a call for 15 minutes I called back again, when the person stated that this was a centralized service cent re and the store manager would call back 'when he is free'. Again I waited for 15 minutes but got no revert and followed up again with the service center. No one bothered to call back, replace the pizzas or refund the money.
