Using this Pen from the Past 12 months and its just superb ever since I am a fan of Pilot pens
Comes in two versions which are Refillable and non-refillable(use and throw), both are the same except the body part.
Refillable pen costs ₹50(You also get 2 cartridge pack for ₹25) while the use and throw costs ₹60
The tip has 0.7mm diameter ball(Hence the name V7) and the writing width is 0.5mm . The pen is ultrasmooth with thick and bright ink while writing so your hands don't pain while writing for long hours and the grip is also good.
Have been using this pen to improve my handwriting and able to write for longer periods. In my case each cartridge lasted for about 3-4 days when I was practicing for my examination .Cartridge replacement is also very easy I just have to replace it like a normal refill.
Inspite of having such good features I notices some Cons
1.The ink is not waterproof: I accidently spilled some tiny amount of water on the book and the ink got faded away .
2.High quality paper: In my house I use High quality notebooks which have reasonably medium thickness(₹50 160 pages book) so the writing is very smooth on this and doesn't blot that much on the other side but its not the case in exams and test where the paper quality is bad hence it creates drag and there is lot of blotting on the other side and writing is not smooth.
3.Drying time: The ink takes time to dry when compared to gel pens so sometimes I see smudges(I am a right hand person).
4.Catridges: A single catridge costs is equivalent to ₹12.5 but it doesn't last for long, in my case it comes for 3-4 days during exam time.
Final Verdict: Must buy pen for a smooth writing with thick and bright ink. If you feel its to big and free flowing you can opt for for the 0.5mm pen(Known as V5)
