Like most google products, this software too is free of cost. Downloading is simple and so is the usage. You don't have to be an editing expert to be able to give basic touch-ups to your photographs. The user interface is very simple to understand, the way it should be.
Without complicating anything it lets you do basic editing, like removing red-eye, straightening, auto-contrast or cropping. Also it is easy to add filters, fill colors or change focus, warmify, add glow or make the photo look vintage, the list is endless. Even for people who do advance editing, this software has plenty of features for them.
Personally, the one feature that I like the most and that often does the trick is "I'm feeling lucky' button, which does basic editing. When it comes to organizing, this software is winner there too. You can easily upload to google plus or create a web album and share it with whoever you want to. Even the face-recognition tool is helpful.
One con that is forcing me to give this software 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't have a shortcut of sharing pics on instagram or facebook.
In short, great software, free of cost, easy to download, works both as an editing tool and as an organizer.
