Purchased this Philips 7W LED bulb from Shopclues for around Rs.290. The bulb does not give brightness that was already given by a 40W fluorescent lamp.
May be we need to put 9 or 12W to replace 40W bulb. But 7W gives quite good brightness which feels sufficient. The bulb looks sturdy than the conventional fluorescent lamps. Its time to switch to LED bulbs which would save energy and money.
