We have been using Pond’s Face Wash , regularly and just for a change tried out Pear’s Face Wash .
What attracted us to Pear’s Face Wash was that it came in a transparent Standi – Tube and the wash itself was a deep amber in color , reminiscent of Pear’s soap that we use . Brand Loyalty was awakened .
On actual use what we found that it doesn’t leave the skin smooth to the touch like what Pond’s Face Wash does . In fact , as a R & D I tried out Ultra Doux Shampoo for Dry Hair as a Face Wash and it gave excellent results ! A kinda two-in –one .
Coming back to Pear’s Face Wash another factor that the company’s gotta address if it wants to stay in the fray is that the Standi – Tube’s gotta have a Flip-Top .
Right now what they have is a Unscrew top which is a pain in the morning-rush-hour !
Both Pond’s FW and Ultra Doux also score in the Flip top department .
Another point is that the fragrance of Pear's FW is no Great shakes . Regarding price , all FWs are anyway stratospheric compared to Soap , so that’s not an issue here .
All in all an alright product but Miles To Go Before We Keep ( in our bathroom ) !
The Sage’s Take :-> Humanity and it’s obsession with Looking Good .
